Alex Smith brings her organizational skills, creativity, and passion for supporting others to the role of Groundwork Strategies’ Executive Assistant. Alex focuses on scheduling and providing excellent client facing interaction and support.

Alex brings a diverse skill set to her position having previously worked as in-class support aide, a long-term substitute art teacher, a lead color guard instructor and designer, all roles that require an ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people. Today, she brings this skill set to Groundwork’s clients.

Alex leverages her background in both art and education as the volunteer Education Chair at Pine Shores Art Association. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University and a Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and son.
